Meet Dr. Steven
The platform was built in collaboration with Dr. Steven, a Malaysia-based investment banker and executive coach who works with C-suite leaders. He brought investment banking experience, executive coaching expertise, and proven revenue-generating Excel-based financial models.
💡Before Axion Plan, forecasting was done using custom Excel templates it worked, but it wasn't scalable.
The Problem
Heavy dependence on manual Excel workflows. High learning curve for non-finance users. Difficult to collaborate across teams. No AI-driven insights or explanations. Hard to scale Dr. Steven's expertise beyond 1:1 engagements.
💡The system worked and clients were paying but it was trapped in Excel.
Why This Was Hard
From a tech perspective, this was one of the most challenging projects. The domain was pure finance P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow logic, revenue modeling. Coming from a pure tech background required multiple deep-dive sessions, asking critical questions, and reverse-engineering Excel formulas.
